University and UCAS Information

Many of our Sixth Form students go on to Higher Education every year and so we place a great deal of emphasis on providing information, guidance and support for students preparing personal statements, completing UCAS applications and preparing for interviews or university entrance tests. Our students achieve a high level of success each year in university applications, with many of them being admitted to their first choice courses at prestigious universities. In addition to general application and personal statement support, we also have dedicated expert Application Mentors for students applying for Medicine or related courses, or aspiring to a place at Oxford or Cambridge. Our links with Keele School of Medicine and local hospitals also allow us to offer potential medical students mock interviews to enable them to be fully prepared.

Mythbusters handout - there are many myths about higher education. UCAS has dispelled the top ones in this useful handout.
Applying through UCAS - for students who have decided they want to apply to higher education. It highlights where to start, key dates, and also gives an overview of the application and tracking process.
