Welcome to Congleton High School's community-use Sports Centre. We are extremely proud to have some of the best sporting facilities in Cheshire and are one of very few schools where these facilities are open to the general public. The Sports Centre is based behind the school buildings on Box Lane in Congleton and is a valued facility for families and local sports clubs alike, offering opportunities to benefit from a range of activities from fitness and football to badminton, basketball and birthday celebrations!

We work very closely with a number of local sports clubs, including Congleton Town FC, who have chosen to make Congleton High School Sports Centre their home. They use our outstanding facilities for training, fixtures and tournaments. Our facilities are also used every week by a large number of local people to pursue team and individual sports or to take part in leisure and fitness classes.

We have exceptional facilities available for hire including:

  • state-of-the-art full size floodlit 3G pitch suitable for all outdoor sports including rugby and one of only eight in Cheshire East to be included on the FA 3G Football Turf Pitch Register.   NB: Please note, our 3G facilities are currently fully booked. (Sept 2022)
  • 4 grass football pitches
  • 4 tennis courts
