Pupil Premium is funding that is received by schools in addition to their main funding. The Government believes that Pupil Premium is “the best way to address current underlying inequalities between children eligible for free school meals (FSM) and their wealthier peers by ensuring that funding to tackle disadvantage reaches the pupils who need it most.” (Department for Education website). Schools are free to spend the Pupil Premium as they see fit, to support pupils from low income families.

Our Pupil Premium Leader is Assistant Headteacher, Mr Tyrrell, and he can be contacted by email: etyrrell@congletonhigh.com, or via the main School Office telephone number: 01260 730123.
