We are a non-selective Academy School and, as such, we welcome applications from all students, regardless of background, academic ability, aptitude, gender or religion. We have an admissions number of 200 in each year group, together with 50 places for external candidates wishing to join our Sixth Form provision.
We welcome prospective families to come and view the school, meet our staff and students and see first-hand what a vibrant and exciting place Congleton High School is. The dates of our next Open Evenings are as follows:

The deadline for applications for a September 2025 Year 7 place at CHS is Thursday 31st October 2024. All applications should go via your own Local Authority. Please go to the Transfer from Primary School pages in this Admissions section for links to the Local Authority sites.
