We ran our annual Spring in a Frame Photography Competition again this year, challenging students to get out and about in nature to capture images of flora and fauna. Our incredible students didn't disappoint and we were inundated with wonderful images of spring landscapes and wildlife from our wonderful Cheshire countryside.
In May we held an after school exhibition to showcase our students' artistic talent and announce the winners and invited families to come along to see the photographs for themselves. Visitors to the exhibition were also able to nominate their own favourite photograph to win the People's Choice prize.
Our overall winner was Year 11 Lewis C with his stunning photograph of daffodils (above).
The winning photographers were:
- 1st: Lewis C Year 11 (Daffodils)
- 2nd: Joey T Year 9 (Frog)
- 3rd: Gabe L Year 9 (Astbury)
The People's Choice Award went to:
- 1st: Rufus I Year 9 (Horse)
- Runner up: Lily M Year 8 (Robin)
Well done to everyone who took part. You can scroll through all the winning photographs along with the other images submitted below.
