Despite poor weather, the #TeamCHS Race for Life runners and walkers raised a fabulous £484 for Cancer Research.
It's Cancer Research UK Race for Life on Tuesday 18th July and our students will be running/walking 5km for Cancer Research UK.
Our Performing Arts team's production of Annie was an incredible success and also helped to raise almost £500 for The Georgia Leigh Ogden trust!
Our LGBTQ+ Ambassadors rounded off Pride Month at CHS with a Pride Stall offering cakes, a range of Pride merchandise and face painting, raising almost £300 for akt (Albert Kennedy Trust).
We enjoyed another fantastic Sports Day this year, with school records broken in both track and field events and a great day had by competitors and supporters alike!

Seventeen CHS students took part in the Congleton Rotary Swimathon, totalling over 700 lengths between them in aid of charity.
We'll be supporting Comic Relief on Friday 17th march and will be inviting students to add something red to their uniform to help with fundraising for the cause.

Throughout Friday 8th July, our students will be running the 5km Race for Life in aid of Cancer Research UK. We're asking students to donate £1 and add something pink to their PE kit.
Our wonderful LGBTQ+ Ambassadors ran a Pride Stall in June to raise funds for two LGBTQ+ charities.
On Wednesday 29th June, our LGBTQ+ Ambassadors are holding putting the fun in fundraising with their Pride Stall event on behalf of Congleton Pride and Switchboard LGBTQ+ helpline.
Our fantastic Spring in a Frame Wildlife Competition and Exhibition was a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful photographic talents of our local young people whilst raising much needed funds for Ukraine.
CHS will host the Spring in a Frame 2022 Photography Competition Exhibition on May 18, and visitors will be able to enjoy all the wonderful images submitted by CHS and Eaton Bank students and primary school pupils from Congleton and surrounding areas.
Our students are keen to support the aid work for Ukraine and are working together to decide on the best ways for the CHS community to help.
We're continuing our efforts to support the charity set up in memory of a much loved CHS student.
The NSPCC Number Day took place on Friday 4th February and once again we supported this with a range of activities to both promote numeracy and fundraise for the charity.
