Positive New Roles in XL

During our Social and Emotional interventions in the Spring Term, students have created three new XL Student Leader roles to help promote positive behaviour, focusing on compassion for others, respect and kindness.

These roles and responsibilities are:

• Friendly Officer - Recognising good behaviour in XL (letting staff on duty know to give that student a 'tick' on the XL Exemplary Behaviour sheet. Five ticks earns the student a Hot Chocolate Friday nomination!
• Games Master - Start games, put away games, include everyone and encourage a calm environment.
• Cleaning Monitor - Make sure rubbish is put in the bin and that tables are wiped down.

This is a great idea and we look forward to hearing how these roles are developed in the future.
