Positive Partnerships

Once again our PE Team and Sports Leaders have hosted, organised and run a range of events for our Partner Primary schools. These events are always such fun. Our staff and students really enjoy being involved and it is great for the primary schools, many of which have limited facilities, to be able to share all the benefits of the large sports hall and our 3G that comes with its own sheltered seating for teachers, parents and carers!

This term, we have run a number of Athletics afternoons and, over a number of months, hosted the Year 5/6 Football League tournament. In addition to being a great way to help smooth the transition to high school, helping primary pupils familiarise themselves with the school and the staff, it’s also great experience for our Sports Leaders, the PE Teachers of the future!
