Oscar Rises to the Top

Our Year 8 Swimming champ, Oscar dV, continues to rise to the top!

In November, he took part in a national training camp as part of the Swim England Talent Pathway, which aims to identify, develop and support athletes for the Olympic, Paralympic and Commonwealth Games of the future.
Over the last few months he's also continued to compete at a national and regional level, achieving great success and adding to his already impressive medal haul, including 2 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze from a national level gala in Stockport and 13 golds and 2 silvers swimming with his club at a Stafford gala, where he also helped the club achieve the Top Club trophy for the second year running!

Next up for Oscar is the Staffordshire Championships, when he will swim in all 18 of the events over six days. Good luck, Oscar!
