Home Grown Sports Leaders

In March, eleven PE students from Years 8, 9 and 10 attended a Young Leaders event in Warrington, which aimed to help them learn how to create inclusive sporting activities for other students back at CHS.

The group participated in eight different activities throughout the day where they were shown how to ensure that various sports could be inclusive for people of all abilities, including adaptations for students with SEND requirements.

Moving forward, the eleven students will be run various break and afterschool clubs incorporating all the new skills they have learned in a bid to increase participation in physical activity across Years 7 and 8.
