Our Key Stage 3 students are invited to take part in a national poetry competition.
Step outside your own viewpoint and write a poem from the perspective of someone (or something) else! From historical figures or idols, to animals or everyday objects, the choice is yours! Explore the experiences of others while developing empathy and strengthening your writing skills.
Students are free to interpret the theme as they wish and explore different poetry types such as acrostics, kennings, narrative poems or free verse.
To get involved for a chance to win £50, a trophy and to be published in a book, students should see Miss Harrison in A1-08 for an entry form.
Alternatively, they can enter here.
