As part of his Public Services course, Year Twelve, Dan Wilson, joined work placement co-ordinator, Mrs Sadat-Shafai, at ‘Thursday Thirty’, a Chamber of Commerce event held by Cheshire Fire and Rescue at Congleton Fire Station.

Currently studying History, PE and Public Services, attending the event not only supported his work on Public Services but also gave him the opportunity to develop his understanding of what employers are looking for and also make valuable local business contacts.

Dan commented:
'It was a good experience, meeting all the different employers. I got really useful background information on what businesses are all about’.
