Half Term Banking Break at Barclays for Reece

With one eye on the future, Year 12 Reece Carbutt Beech chose to forego his February half term break, choosing instead to spend the week on a work placement with Barclay's Bank in Macclesfield to help him gain valuable work experience and employment skills

After his studies, Reece aims to secure an Apprenticeship at Barclays Technology Centre at Radbrook, near Knutsford, so this work experience was a great opportunity to build on relevant skills.

The feedback from Barclay's was extremely positive and Reece commented on the opportunity:
"This week has helped me improve and develop on my communication and teambuilding skills in preparation for when I apply for Apprenticeships next year."
