In March, our Work Placement Coordinator, Mrs Sadat-Shafai, accompanied a group of twelve Sixth Form students to an Assessment Day at Franklyn Financial Management. The day was organised by Business Relations Director, Ian Cottrill and our own former Head Girl, Chloe Tatton, who is now in the role of  Business Relations Coordinator.

The students were able to gain an understanding of a successful financial investment company and also to develop communication and leadership skills in preparation for work. CV tips were also covered, helping students learn how to make the most of their experience and skills.

Managing Director, Andrew Chatterton, delivered an inspiration talk for the visitors. Andrew has enjoyed a long and successful career in finance and established Franklyn Financial Management over twenty years ago. He was able to share this experience with the students who were also keen to ask lots of questions.

David Watson, Chief Executive of the East Cheshire Chamber of Business and Commerce also went along to the event to support the day and share his business experience and expertise with the students.
