Tuesday 8th March was Week Two for our eight Year 8 students on the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service Respect course.
In the session, the firefighters demonstrated how to successfully remove a car roof in order to release a casualty. This had to be done as quickly as possible but also very carefully, ensuring the safety of the casualty and the firefighters at all times.
Afterwards the students helped clean up and even got to use a fire hose to wash down the area.
A big thank you to Cheshire Fire Service for their ongoing work with our students and a special thank you to the two firefighters who gave their free time to help the group do the job!
