Our annual Sports Day will be held on Tuesday 28th June (weather permitting) and will include all the usual field and track events - javelin, shot put, discus, high jump, long jump, races etc. It will be a great opportunity for students to compete for their form groups -individually and in teams.

This year we'll also run an Alternative Sports Day for those who aren't keen on sports or just like to exercise their brains! Held throughout the morning, it will be a series of fun inter-form challenges, requiring teamwork and mental agility.

The challenges will all be linked to the subjects they have studied at CHS including Art, Maths, English, Science, Languages, Performing Arts, PE, DT, Humanities etc, so everyone will have an equal chance.

The aim is to complete as many as possible in ten minutes. Only one person can attempt each challenge but their teammates may help with advice and support from the sidelines!

We wish all our students the very best of luck with whichever Sports Day or Alternative Sports Day challenge they chose to take on.
