In July, our Year 10 students were able to get some invaluable 'experience of the workplace' in a range of careers opportunities.

A number of students accompanied their parents/carers to work to learn more about their roles and responsibilities. Others went to Stoke City Football Club to investigate careers in the sporting environment.

We also held a Criminology workshop at CHS, enabling students to find out more about related careers etc.

Eva B's mum sent in this report of her daughter's day (see photos below):

"Eva was up and out by 6.25am without any complaints to start work at Glebe Farm, mucking out, feeding and general farm work. She really enjoyed it! In the afternoon she sat in on a baby’s 'cake smash' birthday photo shoot with the photographer at Glebe Farm and thoroughly enjoyed that too! Thank you for allowing her the opportunity to take part in such an event."

Thank you to Stoke City and to all the parents/carers who have been able to take part in this.
