A Great Start for 2023-24 Team Sport at CHS

We are only a few weeks in to the new school year and are already racking up wins across the board for our sports teams!

We celebrated a fantastic hat trick of wins for our fabulous boys Football teams in an action packed evening at Box Lane on the 20th. We saw Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 all kick off their year with wins: 6-1; 2-1 and 2-0 respectively.

There was also a 5-2 victory in the same week for our Year 10 and Year 11 girls Football team. Goals from Olivia M, Maisie S and a hat trick from the prolific Marcia M!

Our afterschool Netball club players have been on top form too, putting in lots of training to ensure that they are all match-ready. The under 14s team made their mark in the Sisters n Sport competition with a 33-2 victory! Player of the match was Savannah H.

With the dedication and hard work clearly demonstrated each week by all our players, this success looks set to continue throughout the months and we look forward to bringing you more great news in the coming weeks and months.
