Rare Sighting at CHS

We had a very impressive visitor to CHS at the end of September - a Death's-head Hawkmoth, the largest moth in the British Isles (photo from internet).

Year 11 student, Matthew E, identified the insect and pointed it out to Miss Roberts. The sighting in our town was also shared on to birdguides.com.
