Cheska Competes and Wins at Aintree!

Congratulations to our Year 7 student, Cheska C, who competed in the STARS Champion of Champions horse show at Aintree, Liverpool on her Fell Pony, Hector.

To qualify for this show Cheska had to compete at shows most weekends, placing high enough to gain the required number of points. She was chosen by Caverswall and District Riding Club as Points Champion to compete for them, and her class was Mountain and Moorland Heritage Working Hunter over 133cm Final.

Cheska was delighted to win STARS Shining Star and trophies for being points champion in Workers Classes. This award was so special as she was by far the youngest in her class, with the rest of the competitors being adults on much larger horses!

Cheska wants to work with horses in the future and aims to qualify for Royal International and Horse of the Year show in her chosen class of Working Hunter.
