Fern Celebrates More Competition Success

More great news from Year 10 student, Fern L, who took part in the Essex Masters in April - a seven day tournament with over 1,000 entries. Fern competed in the Ladies category, gaining an amazing score of 176/200 over two courses and achieving a personal best of 89/100 on one course. She took first place, which won her a gun and title of Ladies Essex Champion 2024. Fern also gave an interview for Claysports.tv, which was featured in their online video about the championship.

At the beginning of May, Fern took part in another major competition, the English Open Sporting Championship at Doveridge, along with 1,000+ other competitors. Fern produced a fantastic score of 102/120 on Saturday, which placed her joint 3rd out of 72 in the Ladies category, 1st in Lady Colts, 3rd in Colts and 2nd in B Class.
