Bring a Scientist to School Day

As part of our Science team's annual 'Bring a Scientist to School Day’ in January, we welcomed a number of guests who were able to demonstrate to students that Science careers aren't just about white coats, test tubes and microscopes but actually encompass a wide variety of job roles in a diverse array of companies.

Our guests explained their roles and the routes they took to achieve their position in the Science world, inspiring students to look further in to Science related careers.

The event was for students in Years 9 and 11 and helped them with their GCSE and A Level Options decision making.
