At the end of June we welcomed all our September 2023 Year 7 students in to school for two New Intake Days.

They were able to spend time getting to know their new Form Tutor and classmates, and finding their way around school and our IT systems!

The Class of 2023 also got to experience life as a full time CHS student with a few sample lessons, including Science, Humanities and Computing. In addition to the academic side of school life, they were also able to find out more about the many Careers opportunities at CHS that help students from Year 7 upwards start to plan for their future.

In the evening,we welcomed all our New Intake parents and carers in to school and they got their chance to meet with form tutors and other parents/carers, hear all about Transition at CHS, and ask lots of questions before their child became a full time CHS student.

You can find out more about the Transition process at Congleton High School on the Becoming a Student at CHS/ Transfer From Primary School Page in the Parent/Carer area of our website. (Click here to be redirected.)
